This Privacy Policy describes how Intention collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our therapy matching platform. This is a preliminary policy and will be finalized before our public launch.
Information We Collect
When you use Intention, we may collect the information you provide directly, including your name, email address, location, and the responses you share through our matching survey. The survey asks about your preferences, goals, and background so we can match you with compatible therapists.
How We Use Your Information
We use your survey responses and contact information solely to provide and improve our matching services. This includes generating therapist recommendations, communicating with you about your matches, and supporting your account.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely through our backend infrastructure. We use industry-standard protections and restrict access to authorized team members only. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Sharing With Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We don't share your survey answers with therapists. If we add a way to contact therapists, we'll update this policy before it goes live. We may also share information when required by law or to protect our rights.
AI
Intention does not currently send survey answers to any AI service. Matches are scored by our own rules.
Site Analytics
Our hosting provider records basic page visits (pages viewed, referring site, browser type) to run the service.
Service Providers
Hosting and database are provided through Lovable Cloud (Amazon Web Services, US East). Account emails, such as sign-up verification and password resets, are delivered through Lovable's built-in email service.
Spam Protection
Our trial and launch update forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. Cloudflare sees your IP address and basic browser information when the check runs. We keep only a scrambled version of the IP address, for up to 24 hours, to limit repeated submissions.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and similar browser storage for security and sign-in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Deleting Your Data
Email claireshank@intention.care to delete your account and data.
Your Choices
You can update or delete your account information at any time by contacting us. We don't send marketing emails right now. If we start, every one will include an unsubscribe link.
