These Terms of Service outline the rules and expectations for using the Intention platform. By using our site or services, you agree to these terms. This is a preliminary version that will be finalized before our public launch.

About Intention

Intention is a therapy matching platform designed to help individuals find compatible therapists. We are currently in a pre-launch phase focused on Middle Tennessee and Nashville.

Use of the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use our matching services. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the platform only for its intended purpose.

Not Medical Advice

Intention does not provide medical, mental health, or therapeutic advice. Therapists are responsible for holding a valid license in the states where they practice. Intention reviews independent therapists' license information before their profiles appear in matching. Any treatment decisions are between you and your chosen provider.

Fees & Payments

Intention is free during the beta. The prices on our Pricing page apply after launch, and we'll tell you before you're ever charged.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or provide false information.

Limitation of Liability

Intention is not liable for the actions, advice, or outcomes of any therapist matched through the platform. Therapists who join through a therapy center are approved by that center. Independent therapists' profiles, including license information, are reviewed by Intention before they appear in matching. You are responsible for selecting a provider that meets your needs.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service as the platform evolves. Continued use of Intention after changes means you accept the updated terms.
